David and Dawn Rich opened Rich Farm Ice Cream on July 3, 1994 on what is known as Ajello’s Farm. Along with their children, they produce award-winning ice cream made fresh daily using only the finest ingredients. In addition to the many flavors of hard ice cream that Rich Farm Ice Cream offers, the shop also sells soft serve, Italian ice and frozen yogurt.
Our Yummy Story Destination To Rich Farm Ice Cream had us dive in the menu that includes their everyday flavors which they always have available (unless they run out that day) and their special flavors which rotate frequently and randomly (they carry 2-3 of the flavors listed on the website or you can call to check their special flavors of the day).
Our Yummy Story Destination To Rich Farm Ice Cream had us anxious to try their homemade waffle cone which each of us ordered as their size ranges from kiddie, small to large. Babygirl ordered the kiddie Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl. Our middle daughter delighted herself with the Sweet Cream flavor. Our oldest raved about the Mint Chocolate Chip. Hubby and I each enjoyed a large Maple Walnut and Rum Raisin and it was everything.
Our Yummy Story Destination To Rich Farm Ice Cream in Oxford, CT was all about burning those ice cream calories once we were done and exploring the farm was the perfect excuse to do just that. It was wonderful to see our girls enjoy not only the ice cream but the gorgeous farm surroundings.
Hubby and I are Rum Raisin and Maple Walnut ice cream lovers and whenever we head to a Yummy Story Destination for our Sweet Saturday Story, those particular flavors are our yummy-meter. Rich Farm Ice Cream delivered in the smooth and creamy yumminess we experienced with every lick of our ice cream and we can’t wait to visit again. Our WELLthy family ultimately gives Rich Farm Ice Cream 5 Yummy Yes for their delicious and creamy ice cream with all 5 of us in ice cream heaven.
