The Milford location of Dave & Buster’s is opening Monday, November 5th in the Connecticut Post Mall bringing an all-new reason to visit the popular retail destination. I had the honor to get a sneak peek of the restaurant and entertainment hub that features more than 34,000 square-feet of arcade games, premium sports viewing and delicious food and drink offerings and all I have to say is that you have to experience for yourself!
In addition to bringing more than 290 new jobs to the Milford area, Dave & Buster’s will be an essential addition to Connecticut Post Mall and the second Dave & Buster’s to open in Connecticut, and the 119th overall. From game-lovers and sports enthusiasts, to foodies and event planners, Dave & Buster’s will be the new go-to spot for all ages. As a family blogger whose audience relies on for family friendly places to build #WELLthyMOMents, I had the pleasure to talk to the Milford location General Manager, Bill Painter, about what families can expect when they come to Dave & Buster’s.
Guests will enjoy more than 140 of the latest and greatest arcade games with Dave & Buster’s Opening At Connecticut Post Mall, a chef-crafted menu and the state-of-the-art D&B Sports Bar filled with dozens of massive HDTV screens. Guests can play games like the brand new multiplayer virtual reality attraction platform featuring Jurassic World, an interactive experience that is the brand’s first foray into VR. Hard-earned tickets can be redeemed for a variety of prizes including Apple products Xbox games, sports memorabilia and much more.
Dave & Buster’s Opening At Connecticut Post Mall mouth-watering menu will combine fun and flavor in American fare with items including legendary burgers like the Buffalo Wing Burger and BBBacon Burger (featuring three types of bacon!), and all new dishes like Philly Cheesesteak Sliders & Goldfingers (hand-breaded chicken fingers), Cheese Crusted Street Tacos, Avocado Toast with Mexican Street Corn and the 100% plant-based Impossible Burger.
The Milford hours of operation are Sunday – Thursday (11am – 12am) and Friday – Saturday (11am – 2am). Painter shared about their not-to-be-missed specials which will include Happy Hour (Mon – Fri 3:45 – 7pm) and Late Night Happy Hour (Sun – Thurs 9pm – close). Daily all-day specials include 2 for Tuesday ($2 beers, $2 tacos and 2 Free Game Plays with $10 Power Card purchase) and Half Price Games Wednesday (All games half off, all day). Guests will be able to catch every game in the “better than the stadium” D&B Sports Bar with TVs so big, you’ll feel like you’re actually at the game. I had the honor to get a taste of the impressive selection of high quality food items that the Milford Dave & Buster’s offers and the foodie in me couldn’t help but rejoice. The selection included their Thai Chicken Chopped Salad which was my favorite, the Ancho Caesar lettuce wraps, triple Bacon Burger, Avocado Toast, Chicken and Waffle Sliders, Legendary Goldfingers with the Chipotle sauce to die for and Smashed Bar Burgers and Ribs.They had me at dessert with their decadent Triple Layer Chocolate Cake and Banana Foster.
Guests can watch sporting events in the D&B Sports Bar and play state-of-the-art simulators and games of skill they can’t play anywhere else. It helps to come with a friend because having my mom friend and getting to meet other bloggers made the whole experience an amazing one.
