Ladies Of Virtue Conference 2018 is one conference I couldn’t wait to attend because every time I attend, I leave with a sense of clarity and focus that propels me into my next level. This year Ladies of Virtue Conference was no different and I showed up with expectation.
In 2007, the Lord gave Pastor Carmen Acosta, Associate Pastor of Covenant Life Ministries in Stratford, CT, a vision for a women’s ministry to hold a free annual conference that would transcend all denominational barriers, where women of all nationalities, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds would experience healing and restoration in every area of their lives.
Ladies Of Virtue Conference 2018 understand that women face unique challenges as they seek to walk with the Lord and apply Scriptural truth to the various dynamics of their lives. With the many demands placed on women in the home, work and their community, it is important to recognize the need to uplift, strengthen and encourage them.
Ladies of Virtue conference provides a day perfectly tailored for women to develop new friendships, hear uplifting messages, gain new insights and strengthen their testimony. The theme of this year was “I Will Rise” and featured Pastor Carmen Acosta, Heather Lindsey and Co-Pastor Susie Owens.
Ladies Of Virtue Conference 2018 started with Pastor Carmen Acosta charging us to know our weapon in spiritual battle, to know who God is for us and to know our destiny. Heather Lindsey reinforced in us the need to rid of distractions by recognizing that Satan is roaring like a lion, by putting limits on things that distract us, by fasting and by our obedience to the things of God. Co-Pastor Susie Owens got us shouting when she reminded us the undeniable results that happen when unshakable faith, unbelievable faith and unreasonable faith meets the power of God.
Ladies Of Virtue Conference 2018 was exactly what I needed in this season of my life as I am reading Bishop T.D.Jakes new book “Soar“. I have been ready to soar but I needed that push to remind me the importance of clarity and focus in reaching my destiny. Life has been busy and noisy lately that I couldn’t get myself for some quiet time.
I thank God for Hubby giving me the whole weekend as an early birthday present so after the Ladies Of Virtue Conference, I spent the afternoon by myself writing down some plans of action. I took the time to reflect and I can’t wait for what God has in store for me as I soar on wings like eagles because I know that it’s my time to rise and soar!
