Our Yummy Story Destination To Plasko’s Farm Creamery in Trumbull, CT

Our Yummy Story Destination to Plasko's Farm in Trumbull, CTI am excited to announce the opening of Plasko’s Farm Creamery in Trumbull, CT.  Our 4th of July ended on a sweet note with a yummy story destination to Plasko’s Farm Creamery in Trumbull, CT.  Plasko’s Farm originated in 1925 by the first generation immigrants from Czechoslovakia, Martin and Mary Plasko. Martin was 16 years old when they arrived in the US, worked on an Oyster boat in Norwalk for about 10 years before saving enough money to buy the land in Trumbull where he and his wife Mary would raise their family.

Plasko’s Farm is one of the oldest working family owned farms located in Trumbull, CT. The farm grows and sells seasonal produce, and plants. Plasko’s Country Store has an indoor bakery and ice cream bar and offers a variety of freshly baked goods, including their famous apple cider donuts, assorted pies, scones and artisan breads.

My all time favorite ice cream flavors are Rum Raisin and Maple Walnut so whenever I explore a new ice cream destination, I first look for those two.  Plasko’s Farm Creamery carried both so I opted for Rum Raisin this time with a waffle cone and it was delicious.

Our Yummy Story Destination to Plasko's Farm in Trumbull, CTOur family time at Plasko’s Farm was such a wonderful experience that our family rates Plasko’s Farm 5 Yummy Yes.  Our Yummy Story Destination rating  goes beyond the delicious homemade ice cream we enjoyed so much.  It’s also about Plasko’s Farm story that resonates a lot with Hubby and I as immigrants from Cote D’Ivoire and Barbados to the USA.
