Babygirl N Birthday Celebration At Hershey Chocolate World

Babygirl N Birthday Celebration At Hershey Chocolate WorldBabygirl N Birthday Celebration At Hershey Chocolate World was one that was full of adventures. Our family birthday traditions are family-focused and experience-based. We do plan birthday parties with friends for milestones like the 1st birthday, then 5th, 10th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 21st… It gives us a better gauge of celebrating our daughters in a way that makes them feel special.

Babygirl N Birthday Celebration At Hershey Chocolate World was Babygirl N’s 11th birthday experience. We did not know what Covid would bring so we waited before planning or making any promise. In the beginning of January, I checked the travel advisory state guidelines for Connecticut and the states we could travel to “safely” were New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.

I got our tickets with anticipation to Babygirl’s birthday weekend when we could surprise her. The day before our trip to Hershey Chocolate World, I called to confirm safety protocols and while talking to the representative, I realized the attractions I booked for were for Hershey Park in Pennsylvania.

Disappointed doesn’t come close to how I felt after I hung up the phone. Thankfully Hubby encouraged me to call back and the lady on the other end of the phone had a good laugh because apparently, that’s a common mistake. Money was refunded so now I had to make things right for my birthday girl. I called the Times Square store and no reservation or tickets were needed so I put everything in place for her to have a fun time there and return right away to Connecticut for dinner at her place of choice.

We headed to the mall for her to choose an outfit for her birthday. We stopped at Popeye’s for some fried chicken because that’s what Babygirl N wanted for lunch. We left after lunch for New York City and we love the scenic drive along the Merrit Parkway and the Hudson River.

We parked not too far from Hershey Chocolate World and made our way to sugar comatose. We let the girls have a tour of the store, then they choose a bucket to fill it with all the candy they could get in. The birthday girl left with a souvenir sweat shirt and we headed back to Connecticut for dinner. When I checked the barbecue restaurant she wanted to eat at, I realized it was permanently closed.

Babygirl N Birthday Celebration At Hershey Chocolate WorldWhat’s one more adventure in the midst of all the celebration? We decided that since there was a new Wegmans that opened up in Harrison,  New York which was on the way home, we will stop to our favorite supermarket for some yummy food and treats. It was the perfect way to end the celebration according to Babygirl N.

Babygirl N Birthday Celebration At Hershey Chocolate World was not what we had planned but was everything that made my princess go to bed with a smile on her now 11 year old face! I am thankful for the opportunity to celebrate Hubby and my girls, especially on their birthdays. There is nothing like ending the day feeling fulfilled and satisfied and this birthday celebration amid Covid was one example to not stress the small things and enjoy each moment.
