Our Family Fall Adventure At Plasko’s Farm

Our Family Fall Adventure At Plasko's FarmOur family fall adventure at Plasko’s Farm was exactly how we wanted to end October in Connecticut. Plasko’s Farm is one of the oldest working family owned farms located in Trumbull, CT. The farm grows and sells seasonal produce, and plants. Plasko’s Country Store has an indoor bakery and ice cream bar and offers a variety of freshly baked goods, including their famous apple cider donuts, assorted pies, scones and artisan breads.

Our Family Fall Adventure At Plasko's FarmThe farm was continued by the next generation, John and Pauline Plasko. They established the 8-acre farm on Daniels Farm Road in 1952, as well as 20 acres of additional farmland. In 1997, John and Pauline Plasko, along with the third generation, John Plasko Jr., rebuilt and expanded the farm to not only its original purpose of farming sweet corn and other produce, but also to include a full nursery, country store, bakery, a creamery and now cutest and coziest cafe.

Our Family Fall Adventure At Plasko's FarmAs a Connecticut Blogger, I love to support and promote local businesses.  The wonderful weekend weather was the perfect opportunity to explore this Trumbull gem for our family fall adventure at Plasko’s Farm.  It was wonderful to explore the farm, visit the miniature donkeys, go for a fun hayride, find our way through the bee-tiful corn maze and enjoy some apple cider donuts and ice cream.

Our Family Fall Adventure At Plasko's FarmOur family fall adventure at Plasko’s Farm included so much fun and  It’s also Plasko’s Farm story that resonates a lot with Hubby and I as immigrants from Cote D’Ivoire and Barbados to the USA. It was inspiring to see and experience 92 years of family, faith and perseverance.

Our Family Fall Adventure At Plasko's FarmWe left Plasko’s Farm with our pumpkins, apple cider donuts, ice cream in hands and hearts full with thanksgiving of those moments that can only be experienced together as a family. I am glad that we were able to enjoy the gorgeous Fall foliage and see the happy smiles on my girls’ face. These are the moments. These are the memories. This is WELLthy!
