The Ultimate Guide For Entrepreneurs

The Ultimate Quarantine Guide For EntrepreneursThe Ultimate Guide For Entrepreneurs takes me back to what I have learned so far in this crazy learning adventure that is entrepreneurship. I am a Parent Educator and a Family Lifestyle Blogger on a mission to empower moms in the complex journey that is motherhood and entrepreneurship.  I did not know four years ago that God will expand my platform to work with amazing people and companies while inspiring women and moms along the way.

The Ultimate Guide For Entrepreneurs is all about the importance of a clear vision which I did not have when I first started. It’s really true that if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. I did my best as a newbie entrepreneur with what I knew but decided two years into the journey to invest in myself by connecting with other like-minded entrepreneurs.

It was interesting and sad to realize that a few of those moms were taking their entrepreneurial journey too seriously and did not believe that we could be stronger together. I was so shocked at how cut throat some mom entrepreneurs were as if there was no room for all of us. I was saddened for them because I am all about community over competition.

The Ultimate Quarantine Guide For Entrepreneurs

I refused to conform to the competitive game and chose to surround myself with moms who were confident in their calling and willing to extend their knowledge and expertise. I have come to realize that The Ultimate Guide For Entrepreneurs is more than accumulating likes, paid sponsored posts, viral posts, impressive monthly pageviews, off the shelves products or packed events.

I am at a place in my entrepreneurial journey where I choose to be significant using my gifts to educate and empower moms wherever God calls me. This means that my gifts could be used in a bathroom giving a hug to a mom or being read a book by my kindergartener or sharing my journey at a speaking engagement. That WELLthy mindset is what set me apart from the crowd and caused me to rebrand myself as The WELLthy Mom.

A WELLthy family lifestyle epitomizes whole well-being balancing marriage, motherhood, entrepreneurship and wellness while collecting WELLthy MOMents enjoying family travel and STEM fun. My heart is to inspire and empower moms to shift their mindset from wealthy (the pursuit of what money can buy) to WELLthy (the pursuit of what money can’t buy: spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, financial wellness).

The Ultimate Quarantine Guide For EntrepreneursThe Ultimate Guide For Entrepreneurs happens when I stopped concerning myself over the fear of mission out and starting doing what I can with what I have. As a working mom, entrepreneurship and work-life balance are teaching me not to hold on to what was and what could be but to seize the moment and not the clock. My to do list includes being present in the moment with my family and appreciating everything.

I am learning to own my lane and momboss at my pace because it’s the only way to shine and thrive. My office view changes depending on the job needed. It’s so amazing how much creativity happens when you allow yourself to be still. We are each endowed and equipped with everything within us to make an impact in this world because that’s how God created us.

I have come to embrace who God has called me to do and make a point to inspire other moms to do the same. That’s what makes us a force to reckon with because truly when there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt us! God is the Artist of my life and when the stroke of His paintbrush involves making time for my family, I am intentional in heeding His gentle tug. I am realizing that to be in my children’s memories tomorrow, I have to be in their lives today.

Thasunda Brown Duckett, CEO of Chase Consumer Banking sums it up best: “I do not believe in work life balance because life is not balanced. What I believe in is living your life like a diversified portfolio. Write down everything that matters to you and allocate time to it; you can only allocate 100%. As circumstances change, you can adjust your allocations as needed. There will be fluctuations, but over time you will outperform this thing called life. That to me is how you make the most of all that matters to you.”
